In my own effort to live a life of purpose and be a woman of excellence in my own leadership and career, I have had to learn how to balance my time between contractual work and building my business. Not to mention, I also have to balance my time between work and family. It is not always easy. While I appreciate working from home as it allows me to be available for my family at a moment's notice, it is, at times, hard to separate work from home. As I type, my daughter is sitting next to me, doing her homework and asking me for help when she needs it. As I type, I am thinking about what to cook for dinner. As I type, I am paying attention to the time, telling myself I need to shift to being completely at home but finding it difficult to break away from work.
My question today for you is, how do you find balance?
As a woman of purpose and an entrepreneur, I wear many hats – usually all at the same time. A few years ago, I wrote a book called Living on Purpose: Keys to Discovering Your God-Given Destiny. Now, the fruits of that labor are starting to come to fruition. Please check out my online interview on Thursday, February 18 at http://www.theauthorsshow.com/.
